The BIG Secret

This has been the biggest and hardest secret we have ever had to keep in our whole entire lives. We waited 10 weeks to tell everyone (I don’t know how we did it), but we did it with style! We had all of our close friends and family come over for a big BBQ for my 26^th Birthday!

Since it was my birthday I wanted to get a group photo of everyone that was there. Justin got everyone in front of the house and counted to 3!

“ok, ready? 1… 2….3….WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!” We had been waiting for this “123” to be said for a VERY long time! Most of the younger people got it but didn’t believe us (They totally thought we were kidding) and as for the older folks, well, they were just confused for a short time…Justin had to repeat himself while taking shots at peoples “slow mo” reactions and finally everyone clobbered Justin and I with hugs and so much love!! It was priceless!! We are planning to blow up one of the best shots and put it in Baby K’s room! Below are some of the pictures from the exciting day! The Littlest Bail’s was even excited!

This whole surprise was REALLY big news because no one really knew that we were trying. We decided we would try in April because we knew that it would probably take us a while to get pregnant because of the cancer I had early in life. But no way, God had other plans and blessed us with a little miracle just after a month of trying! Praise the LORD!

Side Note: The cancer that I had is called Nueroblastoma and is a terminal cancer found in children. The doctors gave me two weeks – 2 months to live and also told me I would never walk, start my menstrual cycle, or for that matter get pregnant. Wow, God really showed them! This is a looong story and will get into it more later in the blog, it’s truly an amazing story and can’t wait to share God’s healing on my life to the readers, stay tuned!

After the BBQ was over I had to call some special people that live far away, these were some of their reactions:

My sweet Sarah: Jumped up and down with me! She is due a month before me! Hurray!
