Mary Poppins, my inspiration..
Yes, that was me on Saturday. Whenever I’m in this type of mood I have to take FULL advantage, so since the nusery hasn’t been touched and was acting like the storage closet it was in much need of an overhaul.
First I started out in the closet by bagging up almost 20 dresses from proms, homecomings, and bridemaid dresses. Then went through all of the winter jackets and sweaters that we haven’t touched in years. Hoping to donate all of these things to Base Camp Orlando. Check them out at www.basecamp.org. Get involved!! They have proms/dances every year for the highschoolers with cancer, I thought it would be a good idea to give the dresses to them since chemo and treatment is so expensive and often times don’t have money for dresses and other things. Now is the time for them to feel their most beautiful. I know when I went through it I felt the most cute when I had my bunny slippers on
Next, Justin pulled out all of the computer stuff, since it was once his office and I went through my old dance costumes. Yes, I kept almost all of them…not sure what to do with them, any ideas? For now I bagged them up.
Next project was my hubby putting up the crib..It’s so cute and perfect (Thanks Kim!). I found my bedding finally! I can’t wait until his room is finished.. We probably won’t paint the room but we will defintely paint some designs on the walls. Between my creative husband and Brandon Kari from www.melodyofthesoul.com wanting to help it will be the cutest nursery ever! Mrs. Christina Butler also asked if she could paint BabyK a canvas for his room, I said OF COURSE!! I can’t wait to see it! I love you Christina!
At this point my back was breaking from bagging things up and having really bad ligament pain called ligament rounds, so I decided to sit for a little while and started looking through all of the books and clothes that has been given to us thus far..between the golfer hats, blue/white checkered vans and skinny jeans, BabyK is going to be the cutest kid on the block..no lie. I can’t wait to meet him!!
We do have a name picked out for BabyK but no one can know until he is born. We have to leave something up to the imagination. For instance, Gwen had a dream the other night that we named him “Florence”, I guess you never know..haha.
He will be BabyK for the next 4 months if I don’t slip before then, its been fun calling him by name in private! I know I’m a tease

i have my costumes in a big plastic bin. i’m gonna let a cute niece play with them when she is old enough. now, i just need a cute niece.

I had mine in a plastic bin then I thought I may need the plastic bin. Lol. So I put them in bags. May keep 2 or so for the baby girls one day but jen said I can take the rest up to the studio. I tried to donate them to the dizzy feet foundation but all they want is money. Jerks.
