BabyK’s first show

So, last Friday night was BabyK’s first concert of many at the House of Blues!  It wasn’t just any concert though, it was his favorite band, Between the Trees.  BabyK’s Uncle Ryan is the lead singer and it was so so so CRAZY good!    It was a CD release show for their new album “SPAIN”! There was appx. 1800 – 2000 people there and everyone seemed to love their new stuff. 

BabyK was starting to hear that week so it was perfect!

BabyK’s favorite song on the album is track number 10, titled ”Changed by you”.  This isn’t just any song though.  The song was written by BabyK’s Pops!   Justin wrote the song and sang it to me when he popped the big question at “The Perfect Wife Tavern” in Vermont in 2003.  

Between the Trees liked the song so much that they wanted to put it on their new album!  So, the night of the big show not only did BabyK get to hear Uncle Ry Ry sing his heart out but he also introduced Justin on stage to sing “Changed by you” with him, after Uncle Ryan introduced Justin he told the audience where the song came from and the whole croud let out a resounding, ”AWWWWWW”.  It was amazing and my husband did such a great job, plus he looked smokin sizzlin HOT!

Sweetest side note: After the show at Steak n Shake with the band & significants, Justin said he was so happy that BabyK got to hear him sing that special song to his Mommy…awww, I melted instantly…I think I’m pretty much married to the best man on earth. It’s the little things guys! Remember that!

Funny: While waiting back stage there was an extremely beautiful woman that walked in the room and had no idea who she was, all I know is that I loved her leather pants and said it under my breath!  While other people were walking up to her introducing themselves and saying hello (including my hubsand), no one cared to tell me who she stinkin was, I just thought it was a pretty girl.   Well low and behold it was Jade from XL106.7, her and Johnny were there to introduce Between the Trees.  Very unfortunate that I didn’t get to meet her, but Jade if your reading this, I LOVED your pants and would like to meet you next time. haha.
